The Swiss School of Public Health (换妻俱乐部+) assembles the inter-university faculty of public health sciences affiliated with fourteen Swiss univer颅sities of the 换妻俱乐部+ Foundation. 换妻俱乐部+ is the national coordi颅nating body for the promotion of postgraduate university education and research in the fields of public health.

The registration is now open for the 35th 换妻俱乐部+ Lugano Summer School in Public Health Policy, Economics, and Management (LSS 2026)! The LSS 2026 will take place in Lugano and online from 17 to 22 August 2026, featuring: 12 highly interactive courses, 2 plenaries, and several networking events. Each course uses an active and engaged teaching style to help participants reflect on, develop, and expand transformational ideas. More info .

Swiss Public Health Conference 2026 is happening on September 2鈥3, 2026 in Lucerne and it will be dedicated to the topic 鈥淧ublic Health and the Beauty of Complexity鈥. Registration is currently open. More info .

  • Frontiers Planet Prize 2027

    换妻俱乐部+ is a National Nomination Body of the 5th edition of the (FPP). We encourage scientific leaders to submit a qualifying research article co-authored in peer reviewed literature within 2 years prior to the launch of the FPP competition (i.e., date of acceptance: 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2026). Make sure to select a paper in line with the prize criteria.


    The awards a National Champion for each participating country and offers three prizes of CHF 1 million each to three International Champions, selected by an independent Jury of 100.


    The prize welcomes breakthrough research across all disciplines, on condition it is focused on planetary boundaries and presents original research findings or insightful reviews and syntheses that help to reduce the destabilization of the Earth system.


    Applicants must be an 换妻俱乐部+ Faculty member or a scientist employed in the research team of an 换妻俱乐部+ Faculty member (see the list of 换妻俱乐部+ Faculty members). In case of uncertainties about your eligibility, please contact us in advance.


    How to apply: Please carefully read the and submit the and the PDF of your research article to mdavidovic@ssphplus.ch by 01 October 2026 at the latest. For more information, please refer to the call document attached. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

  • Four calls for course proposals

    We are very pleased to announce 4 calls for course proposals:

    • Missing Data in Health Research: Mechanisms, Methods, and Applications
    • Introduction into GIS for Public Health
    • Health Misinformation and Information Quality in Public Health
    • Applied Bayesian Methods in Epidemiology and Public Health

    Detailed information about the course concepts, general guidelines, and a proposal template are attached for your reference. The courses will be part of the of the .


    The will evaluate all submissions and select the proposals that best meet the educational goals and structural requirements of the IGC program. We particularly welcome proposals that involve early-career researchers 鈥 either by including them in the teaching team or through their leadership in the course development.
